MYA was established in 2007 with the aim to provide an Aesthetic/Cosmetic Surgery Consultation and Treatment service to those patients who have been assessed as appropriate. Their objective was, and remains, to provide all patients with an outcome consistent with current best practice guidelines and individual expectations.

They aim to undertake consultations, treatments and pre and post-operative care in a manner which is individual to the service users’ needs. Patient involvement, confidentiality, respect and dignity are key elements in the delivery of MYA’s care and services.

MYA needed a solution for hosting their existing websites and for the launch of new websites in development. MYA engaged with Holistic IT for advice looking for a scalable hosting solution, with the least amount of disruption, allowing access for existing and potential new clients 24/7, it also had to be scalable to deal with the traffic at busy times.  They also required a website backup solution as part of their disaster recovery process.  The main requirements were to have access for ongoing development work to all sites, testing prior and after the launch of any updates. Finally, a flexible-solution to cover all the needs of the business, marketing team and developers.

We designed and implemented a full cloud-based hosting solution consisting of dedicated virtual web-based servers within our datacentre, monitored and supported. Giving MYA the flexibility and scalability to add additional power / compute resource when required for the websites at any time. The solution also allows for testing prior for any updates or development of new sites before being rolled out.  Also provided is a full backup solution for the websites giving a full Disaster Recovery service should the worse happen. All designed to offer peace of mind, 24/7 website access and allow flexibility for the future growth of MYA.
