OUR HISTORY

2003 Holistic Technologies is Born

After a successful career spent in IT, Luke Shepherd decided to launch his own IT supply business. Holistic Technologies signed up with its first partners and our business officially opened its doors in January 2004.

2006 Investment and Growth

The business grew, developing its fledgling customer base and investing in the team with the addition of sales, finance and support personnel. In 2006, Holistic IT became a Cisco Partner and celebrated with a record year.

2007 Early Cloud Adopters

Holistic embraces the cloud, launching a range of cloud services including online backup and Microsoft BPOS. In 2007, we partnered with VMWare, Citrix and Asigra and were awarded ‘Trend Micro Best SMB Collaborator of the Year’.

2008 The Beginnings of a new Chapter

The business flourished. We partnered with key vendors, gaining Microsoft Gold and Microsoft Education status, and becoming one of the first UK companies to offer Cloud Backup. 2008 also saw us move to larger offices in Doncaster to cater for the growing team.

2008 to 2016 – New Services and Development

Holistic Technologies diversified and developed – the team and the business grew significantly, as we brought on new team members, whilst adding new consultancy and support services to the offering.

2008 – 2016 – Projects for companies nationwide

As the business grew, so did the customer base. Holistic Technologies successfully delivered IT supply, cyber security support and consultancy projects for major organisations nationwide, including: Aldi Head Office, East Riding of Yorkshire Council, Foreign and Commonwealth Office, South Yorkshire Police, Sheffield Wednesday and Sheffield United.

2017 – The New Brand

Holistic continued to add new vendors and services, whilst becoming HP Gold and Netgear Platinum accredited. To reflect the changing face of the business, the company invested in new branding and a new website, whilst changing name to Holistic IT.

2017 – David Haxton Joins the Team

New Operations Director David Haxton joined the business to help drive Holistic IT forward. As part of the wider vision for future success, he began implementing the new growth, direction and strategy programme.

2019 – Patrick Louis-Jean Joins the Team

New Technical Manager Patrick Louis-Jean joined the business to head up our IT Support Department. As part of our continued growth of our IT Support services, bringing with him a wealth of IT expertise to spear head the dept.

2020 – Award Winning IT Support and Services

Holistic IT are honoured to Win the ‘B2B Reseller of the Year’ award from the Network Group. An accolade voted by the Network Group, IT Industry and our clients. It was a testament to the quality work and dedication shown by the whole team

MEET THE MANAGEMENT TEAM

Luke Shepherd – Managing Director

Owner, founder and MD Luke is passionate about technology, and is the driving force behind Holistic IT. Taking a hands on approach, he’s focused on strategy, developing new services, managing the team and looking after our customers by providing the latest technology and the right support. Outside of Holistic IT, Luke is a big MMA fan, and enjoys films, music and reading – when not out socialising with friends and family.

Patrick Louis-Jean – Technical Manager

Patrick heads up the day to day running of the technical team, handling helpdesk, IT Support, clients IT strategy and our Engineering Team. Prior to joining Holistic, Patrick honed his skills and accreditations heading up the support teams for leading IT support organisations. Outside of Holistic IT, Patrick enjoys food and cooking, technology, music and films, as well as travelling and spending time with his family.
